Trade Fairs and Exhibitions

International fairs and exhibitions play a very important part in the development of good friendly relations between all the countries. They help to establish business contacts and promote trade and trade, as we know, promotes peace. Trade fairs and exhibitions are very popular with businessmen and ordinary people as well. Therefore our country which stands for peace and friendly relations with all countries takes part in fairs and exhibitions arranged both abroad and here in Russia. All the exhibitions in Moscow are organized up to the highest international standards. A large number of all kinds of goods on display in exhibit halls (pavilions) as a rule give the visitors an idea of the development of the national economies of the countries-participants and their peoples' way of life in general.

Recently the 8th Moscow international exhibition "Powertek-Energoprogress 2003" was held (on March 25-28 2003) in the sport complex Olympiysky. "Powertek-Energoprogress 2003" was an important international event in the energetic branch in Russia, the CIS (the Commonwealth of independent States) and other countries of the world participants showed their main achievements and the progress the industry and science had made for the last few years.
The efficient staff of stand-attendants, guides and interpreters did their best to make the exhibition a success. Colorful leaflets helped to advertise the equipment. The exhibition was crowded with visitors from opening to closing time. The entries in the visitors' book show that the visitors were greatly impressed by the exhibition.
The participants of the exhibition were interested in introducing their goods to new markets and as a result a lot of contracts were signed at the exhibition. For many leading companies participation in exhibitions arranged in Moscow became a good tradition.

Недавно 8-я Московская международная выставка "Powertek-Энергопрогресс 2003" (25-28 марта 2003 г.) в спортивном комплексе " Олимпийский". "Powertek-Энергопрогресс 2003" стала важным международным событием в энергетической отрасли в России, СНГ (Содружества Независимых Государств) и других странах мира участники показали свои основные достижения и прогресс индустрии и науки было сделано за последние несколько лет.
Эффективный персонал стендистов, Гиды и переводчики сделали все возможное, чтобы выставка удалась. Красочные листовки помогли, чтобы рекламировать оборудование. На выставке было много посетителей от открытия до закрытия. Записи в книге посетителей показывает, что посетители были под большим впечатлением от выставки.
Участники выставки были заинтересованы во внедрении своих товаров на новые рынки и, как следствие, много контрактов было подписано на выставке. Для многих ведущих компаний, участие в выставках организованы в Москве стало доброй традицией.

When Walt Disney was making a film, he al¬ways thought not only about children but also about grown-ups. That's why he tried to touch up-on the subjects of nature and life, he wanted to make people think about life, love, justice, about good and evil powers. There were episodes in Dis¬ney's films that did not leave a dry eye in the cine¬ma. At the same time all Disney's films are full of optimism and have a happy ending. A great num¬ber of people were brought up on Walt Disney's films and they are grateful to him for these unfor¬gettable moments in their childhood.
It may seem strange that after the success in animation, Disney directed his energies to a new field — constructing Disneyland. Everybody thought that it was impossible to realize this idea but Disney saw it as continuation of what he had been doing all his life. Disneyland (in California) and Disneyworld (in Florida) receive millions of visitors every year.

1 London is the capital of Great Britain. It lies in the South East of England on both banks of the river Thames. London is one of the largest cities in the largest port and industrial centre in England. London is more than twenty centuries old.

2 The heart of the capital is the City. The territory of the City is only about one square mile, but it is the financial and business centre of the country. It contains almost all important English banks and offices.

3 The West End of London is famous for its beautiful monuments and palaces, fine parks, fashionable shops and big hotels. The East End is quite different from the West End. It is the district of factories, plants and docks. The narrow streets and poor houses of the East End present a contrast to the homes of the rich people in the West End.

4 There are many places of interest in London. One of them is Trafalgar Square with the Nelson monument 185 feet high. Buckingham palace is the royal residence. Westminister Abbey is one of the most citizens of Britain.
