B0 – Australia is an island continent lying southeast of B1 Asia.
Australia is the smallest continent and the largest island in the world.
It is formed of one enormous island and one small one called B2 Tasmania. Australia is the flattest of all continents. Only 5 per cent of the lands is very high. Its most significant mountain chain is B3 Great Diving Range, the eastern part of which is known as B4 Australian Alps. B5 Mount Kosciusko is Australia’s highest point. There are a few rivers in Australia. Australia’s best – known river is B6 Murray. But the longest is B7 Darling.
Most of Australia’s areas are desert country. In fact, B8 Great Sandy and B9 Great Victoria Deserts are the largest deserts in the world.
Four out of five Australians live in the eastern state cities. B10 Sydney is the largest city on the continent.

Portugal, without doubt, one of the most magnificent and amazing places I would like to visit. This impressive building in the Rococo style was built in the 17th century by the architect Vincent de Oliver as a luxury summery residency for the King Don Pedro Braganra. The first, what strikes you is its size, and the delicacy of style of the palace. 2)Inside, there is prenty to see. The rooms and halls of the palace is richly decorated with charming paintings and beautiful tapestries. There is a spellbound music room, like a care, and an execellent throne room with the pictures of the royal family. Royal bedroom ia famous for its domed ceilings, columns of glass with the scense from Pon Quixote on them.

3) The Queluz Palace is surrounded by the enormous park where jousting tournaments, fireworks, concert were held. Now there are a large number of fountains, statues and scuptures, which arranged in the French style. What is more, there is a renowned restaurant " Old kithcen" where you can recover after the excursion through the palace. 4) The aim of my project was to get as much as possible information about historic building all aound the world. And if i had an opportunity, I would like to visit this place as fast as I can.

Northern Ireland.
England, Wales and Scotland occupy the territory of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is situated in the northern part of Ireland. The territory of the United Kingdom is about 244000 square kilometres. The population is over 56 million people. The capital of the United Kingdom is London.
The surface of the United Kingdom varies greatly. The northern and the western parts of the country are mountainous and are called the Highlands. All the rest is a vast plain which is called the Lowlands. The mountains are not very high. The rivers are not very long. The most important of them are the Severn and the Thames. There are many beautiful lakes in the mountainous part of the country.
The mountains, the Atlantic Ocean and the warm waters of the Gulf Stream influence the climate of GreatBritain. It is mild the whole year round. Winters are not cold and summers are not hot.
Great Britain is a highly developed industrial country. It is known as one of the world’s largest producers and exporters of iron and steel products, machinery and electronics, chemicals and textile. One of the industries is shipbuilding.
Great Britain is a country with old cultural traditions and customs. The most famous educational centres are Oxford and Cambridge universities. They are considered to be the intellectual centres of Europe. The education is not free, it is very expensive.
The United Kingdom is a monarchy and the Queen is the head of the state. But in practice it is ruled by the government with the Prime Minister at the head. The British Parliament consists of two chambers: the House of Lords and the House of Commons.
