London costs on the Thames. Passing the Po River to Taursky Bridge it is possible to see the Tower at once. This one of the oldest buildings of the city. Many centuries ago it was the fortress, the royal palace, and then prison. Now it is the museum of the weapon.
On the bank of the Thames, near the Tower of London, you can see the Westminster palace, or Parliament Houses. It is the residence of the government of Great Britain and is one of the most beautiful buildings in London. In one of towers there is known Big Ben, the largest hours of England. They beat each quarter of hour.
Buckingham Palace is the official London residence of the queen. Tourists always go there to see a ceremony of change of guard.
