Of all my relatives, I like my Aunt Emily the best. She's my mother's youngest sister. She has never married, and she lives alone in a small village near Bath. She's in her late fifties, but she's still quite young in spirit. She has a fair complexion, thick brown hair which she wears in a bun, and dark brown eyes. She has a kind face, and when you meet her, the first thing you notice is her lovely, warm smile. Her face is a little wrinkled now, but I think she is still rather attractive. She is the sort of person you can always go to if you have a problem.She likes reading and gardening, and she goes for long walks over the hills with her dog, Buster. She's a very active person. Either she's making something, or mending something, or doing something to help others. She does the shopping for some of the old people in the village. She's extremely generous, bur not very tolerant with people who don't agree with her. I hope that I am as happy and 18contented as she is when I’m her age

начался совершенно новый и ответственный этап, так как в мир я привожу маленького человека. Сейчас мы с ним составляем единое целое, и это продлится еще несколько удивительных месяцев. Спустя шесть месяцев беременности я поняла, что сейчас и впереди нас ждет постоянное взаимодействие. Я буду в роли мамы, а он ребенок.
Я приняла новость о своей беременности с радостью и вместе с тем, с некоторой растерянностью. В голове крутилась лишь одна мысль: «со мной в ближайшие девять месяцев будут происходить совершенно новые для меня ощущения в теле, в душе, в жизни». Мысль о беременности я принимала в течение нескольких недель. Достаточно долго. Я думаю, это от того, что менялся очень активно гормональный фон и были некоторые всем известные сложности с самочувствием. Далее у меня появилась совершенно другая мысль, а та прошла бесследно. А мысль была такая, что беременность – это чудо, это таинство и это столько невероятных эмоций. Иногда я сама ловила себя на мысли, что все окружающие женщины должны быть тоже беременны и осознавать, что это чудо.
Это моя первая беременность и это будут первые мои роды, поэтому представление о ребенке немного отдаленные и неясные. Прежде всего, это представления о том, как ребеночек ведет себя, как реагировать на его плачь, как за ним ухаживать и т.п.
Таким образом, новость, что я буду мамой очень сильно повлияло на меня. Я придерживаюсь мысли, что дети это один из важнейших проектов в нашей жизни, также как и семья. Уход, воспитание детей занимает большую часть нашей сознательной и зрелой жизни. На что требуются силы, смекалка, терпение и любовь к ребенку. Общение, собственный пример являются неотъемлемой частью этого воспитательного процесса. Надеюсь, что всегда будут силы и взаимопомощь в этом достаточно не простом деле.

On my daily walking tours of Manhattan I did a lot of window shopping too. On Fifth Avenue and Madison Avenue the prices gave me quite a shock. I once saw a scarf costing over $ 1,000. My friends explained me that money was no object for customers who shopped there. This is where money really talks!
