There are some important questions that you need to ask yourself if you don't want to make a mistake.The first is "What am I good at?".This is not an easy question to answer at the age of 15 or 16 when you don't have enough experience.A good starting point is looking at what others do and getting a clear idea if it suits you. Then,naturally?you have to ask yourself "What do I want from my career?" If you do well in maths and sciences, it may be worth thinking about engineering, air trafic control, industrial laboratory work or something in computing.If you are good at good at arts , think os jobs in graphic or industrial design, publishing, advertising or video. And if you like learning and using languages, you might consider being a tlanslator, though it is always better to combine languages with marketing, business or some other profession.

Тогда, естественно, ты должен спросить себя: "Что я хочу от своей профессии?" Если ты хорош в математике и науках, то это подойдет для машиностроения, управления воздушным движением, промышленной лаборатории или что-то из вычисления. Если ты хорош в искусстве, подумай о работе в графическом или промышленном дизайне, издательстве, рекламе или видео. И если тебе нравится учить и использовать языки, ты можешь рассмотреть быть переводчиком, подумай, что всегда намного лучше, если ты комбинируешь языки с маркетингом, бизнесом или с некоторыми другими профессиями.

It's lunchtime at school and you're heading for the canteen, but what will you have to eat? Will you have a sandwich and an apple, or maybe a hot meal? Things are a little different in Japan. Children open their lunchboxes to find rice shaped like footballs, eggs that look like rabbits or flower-shaped carrots all packed up in an obento!
An obento, or bento, is one of the oldest food traditions in Japan. Basically, it is lunch served in a box. Obento boxes have been part of the Japanese society since the 5th century when people used to take a packed lunch with them to work. Bentos have become very popular since then and you can buy them almost anywhere nowadays at theatres, airports and even at train stations.
An obento usually consists of four parts rice, three parts meat or fish (fried or grilled), two parts vegetables (pickled1, boiled or steamed) and one part fruit. It should be nourishing and healthy, but it must be appealing too. You often see food shaped like flowers, animals and sometimes even cartoon characters! Mothers take great pride in creating 'school-bentos' for their children.
Nursery schools have established regulations for an obento. Food should be easy to eat with chopsticks or the fingers, portions should be small and it should be pleasing to the eye. It should also include food that the child would not normally eat so that they won't become a fussy eater.
The Japanese have always looked upon the mother as one of the main influences of a child's success. Taking time to prepare their children's food shows their love for them.
And what happens if a Japanese mum runs out of ideas? There are almost 400 magazines available to get inspired.
In British school,there are lessons in the morning and in the afternoon.

The Birmingham-born reggae singer moved to the Top of the Pop stage in early 1993. Twelve months later, he was coming to the end of a disastrous second tour of India,and thinking of stopping the business. ''It took me almost a year to find myself,'' says Apache Indian, a stage name for 27-year-old Steve Kapur. In the end,Make Way for the Indian, a powerful record,appeared. Later in the year, he also becomes a deejay with his own weekly show on Radio One. ''My music is a reflection of how i grew up-the reggae from the streets, the Indian bhangra sound and language from home, and perhaps the pop from the radio.'' Reggae has always been a powerful musicial force in Birmingham, producing acts such as Steel Pulse and UB40.Steve Kapur unlike his Asian mates in school followed the music from the age of 13. His parents couldn`t understand this. ''My parents came to this country when rock and roll was popular,and they were great fans of Elvis Presley. If I had followed him, there would have been no problem. Asians tend to have a very negative attitude towards black people, and reggae in particular was associated with gangs.'' Steve disapproves violence. '' I would take my family away and live somewhere else if I thought my children might get mixed up in gangs.'' Kapur was an excellent pupil and eventually became the best at school. Howewer when he was 18 he dropped out of college because of some family problems. Kapur joined his father workingin the shop and, as he was free from having to study in the evenings, devoted more time to reggae. He bought a van to help a local reggae sound system travel around the country, and finally started deejaying himself. Apache has not, howewer, forgotten about his roots. ''It was hard to record the album because i felt a lot of pressure.'' But Make Way for the Indian became a socially conscious album. ''People are getting shot, kids are on cocaine and crack, and i do address those subjects. I`m not leaving out the Asian people because what toy apply to the Indian people,you apply you the white people, you apply to all.''
