В Таиланде Новый год называется Сонгкран. Это безусловно самый захватывающий праздник года. Празднуется с 13-15 апреля.
Местные жители называют праздник Ван Сонгкран, что дословно переводится , как передвижение с одного места на другое.
Тайцы выходят на улицы, прихватив с собой пару ведер и поливают всех подряд, кого только встретят и красят друг друга тальском. Если улыбающийся таец польет вас водой , значит он желает вам счастья. Однако, традицией обливания водой этот праздник не ограничивается.
Утро Сонгкрана начинается с похода в храм, где монахам преподносят приготвленные заранее домашние угощения, подчеркивая тем самым своё почтение к ним, как к учителям и наставникам.
После возвращения из храма наступает время второй части новогодней церемонии — омовение семейной статуэтки Будды чистой водой с лепестками роз и жасмина. Затем в знак уважения к старшим членам семьи льют воду на их руки. После этой церемонии семья садится за праздничный стол, чтобы насладиться праздничной трапезой.

Summer
- the holidays. My favourite season is summer. I love them
very much awaited. However, I spent them badly. This summer was
not remembered. All summer I stayed home. A couple of trips I went to the
village. But there I didn’t
like. There was no creature comforts. In the city I watched TV, read books. Sometimes, I played computer games
and walked. In the street I played football. Sometimes, my friends and I went to
the cinema. In the summer I read books which the teacher asked to read for
the summer. I read almost everything. Some of books were very large, but
some of them I liked. At the end of the summer, I really wanted to
go somewhere, but it didn't happen. Hopefully next summer I spend more
better.

older I will be a good player. I think tennis is the best sport! It is amazing how much strength they use. Tennis is a hard sport like swimming. So, that's all I can tell for now about my favourite sport.

Misha: Do you have magical holidays, Robin? Can you tell me about them?
Robin: Well, where do I start, Misha? I come from Scotland and my great-grandparents were the Druids. The Druids are magical people. They can speak to the trees and to animals. They can fly and see into the future. They say that a year has two halves: a light half (spring and summer) and a dark half (autumn and winter).
The weather in Scotland is usually cool, but spring and summer are often nice. It is never hot, but it can be quite warm. It sometimes rains, but we also get some sun. The nights are short and the days are long. People work in the fields. Children lie in the sun and play in the woods.
But autumn and winter in Scotland are very cold. The weather is bad. In autumn it often rains and in winter it snows and rains,

grany and grandad. There I went to summer house. In july I went to Balgariya with my friends. When we came to Balgariya we celebrated my birthday party. We bought defrents sweets, sweet drink, crisps and ice-cream. Then we went to hotel. We celebreted my birhtday party in hotel. My friends gave me many presents. Next we went to the disco and dance there. Every day we went at the seasight. In agust I came back home and my perents, granes and I went to Russia. There we went to shops and cafes. Every evening we went to the quay. When we came back I went for a wolk. Every day I went for a wolk with my friends. I like summer very much!
