Kazakh national holidays always played an important role in people's daily lives. Such military and sports games like sayys racing, Altyn kakbak ho and others take training and social function. Lots of games, for example, alaman bayga wore ceremonial and ritual character. Many folk celebrations were devoted to socially significant events. Often these events lasted several days, during which performed a variety of games, contests, races. Also great for the Kazakhs were family-patrimonial holidays. The most significant events for this kind of holiday is a wedding, birth of a son, the day of placing the baby in the cradle, and others. Generic family celebrations always accompanied noisy celebrations, plentiful refreshments, games. Kazakh national holidays of one of the biggest was Nowruz or New Year. The peoples of Central Asia and the Kazakhs celebrate it on March 22. Triumph lasts three days, during which people wishes of relatives, neighbors, cook the national dish "nauryzdyk" set various games and entertainment.
