1No, they don't. Lots of people have got their own houses.
2 There are too floors in a traditional English house.
3 The bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs, The living-room, the dining-room,the kitchen and a hall are downsteairs.
4The living-room is the largest in the house.
5They spend evenings in armchairs near the fireplace. They read books, watch tv, listen to musik or sit around and talk.
6. People like their homes and often say : There is no place like home .Or : East or west, home is best!
