Griboyedov was born in Moscow -born in a wealthy family. His ancestor , Ian Grzhibovskiy (Polish Jan Grzybowski), in the early XVII century moved from Poland to Russia . Griboyedov 's surname is not nothing but a kind of translation Grzhibovskiy names. Under Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich was bit clerk and one of the five drafters Code of 1649 , Fyodor Griboyedov Akimovich .The writer's father - retired Major seconds Sergei Griboyedov ( 1761-1814 ) . Mother - Anastasia Feodorovna (1768-1839) , also Griboyedov.According to his relatives , in a child, Alexander was very focused and extremely developed. It has been suggested , that it comes grandnephew outstanding writer Russian Alexander Radishchev . At age 63 fluent in foreign languages, already in his youth 6th , particularly in perfect English , French , German and Italian . Well understood Latin and Greek language .In 1803 he was sent to Moscow university boarding , three years later entered the University of Griboyedov on verbal department of Moscow University. In 1808 he was named the candidate of philology  , but left his studies and joined the moral and political office , and then on the physico- mathematical department .
