it is используется когда в предложений говорится о неодушевленном предмет, например: It is my pencil.- это мой карандаш.
that is это указательное местоимение: that is boys my brothers.-те мальчики мои братья.
this is это тоже указательное местоимение: this is boy jump-тот мальчик прыгает
