SPACE EXPLORATION
the First steps in space exploration were taken in the early thirties our century in works of the founder of astronautics the Russian scientist Konstantin Eduardovich Tsiolkovsky (1857-1935) who told: "Impossible will become possible today tomorrow". These words were prophetical. On October 4, 1957 in the USSR the first-ever artificial satellite of Earth was launched. It meant approach of a space age. The Russian word "satellite" was included into languages of all people. Since then in our country hundreds of Space satellites which purpose is carrying out wide-ranging scientific studies and technical experiments were started. In two years after start of the first satellite our automatic station flew about the Moon and transferred pictures of its reverse, invisible side to the earth. The moving device "Moon rover-1" which delivered the most valuable information to Earth worked many months on the Moon. And automatic station "Luna-20", having made the flight Earth — the Moon and back, I delivered us samples of lunar soil. Not once space stations to the planet Venus went, by means of automatic stations complex researches of the planet Mars are executed. Our device "Mars-3" soft-landed in one of the regions of Mars and transferred video signal to Earth. On April 12, 1961 I rose in space and the first person of our planet, the Russian space pilot Yury Gagarin flew about Earth by the ship "East". After that we already many times witnessed heroic flights of astronauts. By the ships "East" flight of crews of astronauts and the first exit of the person in an outer space was carried out (the space pilot A. A. Leonov, 1965) . During flights of the many-placed ships "Union" joining of the ships among themselves and with the Salute space station was carried out, possibility of long flights and change of crews is shown, the wide complex of researches in all areas of science and a national economy for peaceful use of space is carried out. Citizens of many countries, including Poland, Germany, France, India, Syria, America took part in flights by the Russian spaceships. On July 15, 1975 joining of the Soviet ship "Union-19" and American "Apollo" was carried out. In December, 1984 the Soviet space stations "Vega-1" and "Vega-2" departed to the planet Venus and Galley's comet. Their name is formed of the first syllables of the words "Venus" and "
