will описывает действие в будущем
going to описывает планы на будущее, например : я собираюсь пойти на рыбалку завтра утром.(кстати, часто переводится как собираюсь сделать что-то)

will обычно употребляют когда решили что-то сделать в будущем прямо сейчас. например (-Kelly is ill -Oh, I will call her) или когда ты говоришь о каких действиях в будущем, например "I will read that book"
going to употребляется когда ты говоришь о своих планах на будущее, в которых ты уверена. например "I am going to go cinema tomorrow"
