and a postcard. Isn't it lovely? You can travel to the Lake District by train or coach from London. I think you should take the train, as you have very little time and it's much quicker and very comfortable. We can easily take you to the station and pick up you up when you return. As for places to stay, I think, you ought to try a Youth Hostel. They're quite cheap and good places for meeting people. You sleep in single beds but you share a room. The Lake District was the home of the famous poet William Wordsworth, who spent most of his life there. It's a wonderful place for walking. There's also a very interesting museum about lakeland life and industry. The whole area gets very crowded in summer with people coming to visit the lakes and the poet's home, so, perhaps, the best thing to do would be to travel on a Friday morning and come back on Monday or Tuesday to avoid the weekend rush. The weather's sometimes warm and sunny but unfortunately, it's often very wet, so bring light waterproof clothing and it might be an idea to buy an umbrella! I hope this helps. y I went to my grandma with my parents. We missed foor her very much. She lives in the country in ahouse of her own. She was very glad to see us, i took a lot of pictures of my family and of myself. it's very big! It has three computer rooms and wonderful sport facilities. Actually,it seems a nice place and I enjoy studying there. The kids in my class are very friendly. I've already made some new friends and often meet after classes, I've got only new subject this year. It's Economics and I'm beginning to think that it's not difficult, after all! By the way,what music styles do you enjoy? Have you got any favorite bands? Would you like to go their concert? As for me, I prefer U2. They are cool! I'd better go now. Lots of love, Shanty
