2. He was playing volleyball.
3. Scott introdused himself to Harriet.
4. He recognised Harriet.
5. Because he said about Harriet that she has just been nobody. And Harriet heard it.

1) What was the weather like? - A light breeze was blowing, and the waves were sparkling in the sun.
2) What games were Scott and his friends playing? - Scott and his friends were playing a crazy game of volleyball on the beach.
3) Who did Scott introduce himself to? - Scott introduced himself to the new girl that he met on the beach.
4) Did Scott recognize Harriet the next day? - Yes, Scott recognized Harriet the next day.
5) Why do you think Scott stopped listening the story? - Because he felt terrible for his words about Harriet.

I like this book very much! It is really interesting to read this book. I recommend this book to people who like real adventures and stories about pirates.
