Hello, my name is Vanya. I'm 10 years old. I'm a pupil (student). I study at school.

In the morning I get up and go to the bathroom. There I brush my teeth and wash my face. Then I have breakfast, get dressed, comb my hair and go to school.

In the afternoon I have lunch and come back home where I do my homework. In the evening I watch TV, play computer games and read books. After that I go to bed.

At the end of the day I feel tired and happy that I did so many things. That is what I do every day.

You already have chains around your ankles. You're firmly locked into society. You're on the conveyor belt and it's very hard to get yourself off You find a job, a girlfriend whom you might eventually marry, you buy a house together and start paying off your mortgage. You decide to have children and put them on the conveyor belt the same way you yourself were put on. You earn more money and retire, grow old, and finally put yourself into an expensive residential care home. Well done. You did it. You did exactly what this society asked of you. went to college until I ighteen. I passed A-levels, then my ent w surfing around the world what they call year". I really don't like the on a gap word "gap". When I looked in the dictionary for the word "gap", I found "Gap: A break in continuity, interruption.' allowed The society doesn't recognize this year as being important. You are to do it in fact you are told that future employers love it because it means you have done something interesting, shown your independence, and have something original to talk about in your job interviews. But once the year is gap over, you must start serious work earning money and making plans for the future. We love plans in the UK, because plans are security, and we adore security. The funny thing is, I don't believe security can come from a big house and a fast car or a degree. All these things create an illusion that you are secure. Security, in my opinion, comes from within oneself I'm on my fourth "gap year and I'm happy, truly happy. Every now summer I work as a beach lifeguard in Cornwall, the county which is a long peninsula in the southwest of England and where thousands of people go for their summer holidays. I don't earn a fortune but my life is rich. I wake up every morning and see the ocean. I surf every day if there are waves. can Surfing is the one thing in my life that truly makes me happy. If I couldn't surf, then, I think, I'd dry up and rot. Surfing means everything to me and nothing will ever remove me from the ocean. I save what little I earn in the summer which enables me to spend each winter in the sun with my surfboard Australia, Sri Lanka, Thailand.. maybe South Africa or South America next year so that's what am going to do I've realized that surfing makes me happy, so that's what I am going to do. I'll base my life around it in every possible way. I'll do any job and live anywhere, as long as I have the ocean on my doorstep. Many of my friends went to college and university and now live in the city and do the usual nine-to-five things along with everyone else. I spent a short time living in the city last year and I couldn't believe what I saw. People seemed so lifeless on the Underground in the morning. Nobody seemed happy or friendly. It was the land of the living dead. I truly believe that lots of people know what makes them happy but they choose to ignore it because it gets in the way of what they are really supposed to do: namely, work and earn lots of money. Life should be an adventure and if you're on that conveyor belt, it will not happen. Whatever happened to adventure? I don't want to get to the end of my life and think: "What if?" I often asked what my plans are. I also get asked where I see myself get going and what I want to do with my life. "When," they ask, "are you going to get a proper job?" They forget that I be the person who saves their child's may life on a beach one summer. Isn't that "proper" enough? I want to do exactly what I'm doing right now. Sure I'd like a little house and maybe bring a baby into the world, but I refuse to believe that the only way of doing that is by following the system. I don't want to see the world in the movies and read about it in books. I want to see it myself, smell it, hear it and feel it. I refuse to follow other people's footsteps

(A) Last summer I was in a language school in Malta ['тэ:11з|. I had won an English language competition and the prize was a two-week trip. I enjoyed it greatly, but there was one thing that really spoilt my impression. It was my roommate. She was a cute (симпатичная) girl but a real chatterbox. In the morning, when we got up, she used to talk about clothes and boys all the time. She kept talking about these same things during the breaks between our classes, and even in the evening I had no chance to escape from her "boys and clothes".

I'm not a bore and I'm certainly not a bookworm who is interested only in studying. I didn't feel jealous either, but her silly talking made me mad and even the sound of her voice seemed to me very annoying. Sometimes I told her that her clothes looked stupid and didn't suit her at all or made fun of the boy she liked. She was quieter when she was upset. Then I felt ashamed of how I spoke to her:
(В) I think sharing a room with a person your age is a great experience. You learn to live in the world of adults where you have to take care of yourself and have everything depend on you. Unlike your mum or dad, your roommate is not going to accept all your "nice and lovely" habits and support you in every situation. You have to earn his or her friendship and any good feelings he or she has for you. This means that you shouldn't do anything that hurts your roommate. The law of coexistence is very simple: you can do anything you like but not at other people's expense (за счет других). In other words, you can enjoy yourself as long as it doesn't hurt other people. Observe this law yourself, make your roommate do the same and everything will be all right.
(С)It is great fun to have a roommate. It means that you can do whatever you want and not only what your parents want you to do. My parents, for example, tell me day and night that I should keep my room tidy. I appreciate their care but I'm annoyed by all of the washing up and cleaning. I don't see what the trouble is if I keep some of my clothes out of the wardrobe and on the sofa or even under it. Our home is not a museum, so why make such a fuss about tidiness? I don't think teenagers care about that at all.
(D) I lived apart from my family when I was at sports camp. Our athletic team — eight lads — shared one big room. You may think that it's not easy when there are so many people with different personalities around you. Nothing of the kind! All you need to do is to think about the other seven people. We even worked out a list of rules that helped avoid quarrels.

Напишите пожалуйста интервью! Срочно! Можно на русском! It is a popular tradition among Americans to watch the

Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, which first took place in 1924. At present, 2.5 million people gather in the streets of New York to watch marching bands, huge balloons and enormous floats. Besides, more than 40 million people watch the parade on TV!

Imagine that you are a TV reporter and you’ve been sent to Manhattan to make a report about the parade. Think of a catchy introduction, give some interesting facts about the parade, describe the most stylish bands and the coolest balloons and floats that are passing by. Use some colorful language to impress the viewers. Don’t forget to introduce yourself and your cameraman. Add some pictures of the parade. Be creative!

Usually teenagers easily find friends. But for shy and newcomers is a serious problem.
Many teenagers are friends at school, but not all. Because I do not always have the same interests classmates. You can participate in activities that you like and get acquainted with the guys. Common interests - an excellent opportunity for friendship.
Here are some places to find friends sports teams in your school sports casses(karate or ice skating, for example) music classes o art classes theatre groups pen friend clubs.
Just go ahead. Faced with a new person, say hello and introduce yourself. One whom you do not know can be your friend.
