atmosphere is the greenhouse effect. Some gases in the atmosphere work like glass in a greenhouse. They are known as "greenhouse gases". Theylet heat in, but they don't let much hea out. So the atmosphere becomes warmer. The greenhouseeffect is very important; if it did not occur at all, the temperature of the plenet would be 40 degrees lower and the oceans would freeeze. But an increase in the greenhouse effect ( caused bt an increase in the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere ) may lead to global warming.
2. We tend to imagine that ancient people were " environmentally friendly " and lived in harmony with nature. Some people (such as the American Indians) did indeed respect and protect their environment. But there are many examples of ancient people who destroyed the land they lived on.
The great city of Ur was destroyed by floods after its people removed the trees on the banks of the river Euphrates to use as fuel for their fires. Although the Bible says that the cause of floods was the anger of God, the real cause of the flood was probably environmental damage by man.

1 . Важной экологической проблемой в атмосфере парниковый эффект . Некоторые газы в атмосфере работать как стекло в теплице . Они известны как "парниковых газов" . Они позволяют нагреть , но они не позволяют много АЭМ вне. Таким образом, атмосфера становится теплее. Парниковый эффект является очень важным, если бы оно не происходит вообще , температура Планета будет 40 градусов ниже, а океаны бы freeeze . Но увеличение парникового эффекта (вызванное BT увеличением концентрации парниковых газов в атмосфере ) может привести к глобальному потеплению.

all the right questions. So how on earth do you find a house? Don’t panic: everyones in the same boat. You need to begin by making a list of what you want in a house. For instance, do you want a bath or will just a shower be OK? Do you want a washing machine( my advice-YES- launderettes are a nightmare and you cant afford to have things cleaned for you ). Are you OK with sharing a bathroom or do you want an en suite of your own? You also need to think about where your house is located- bus and train fares can add up to a lot of money.
Secondly, make sure you take with you a list of questions you want to ask. Will you have to pay the rest of the rent if the other rooms aren’t filled? How big is the deposit and will it be returned at the end of your rent? Is there a garden-are you responsible for it? Are the rooms lockable? Is the house in good condition? If the landlord promises to have things repaired, get his promises included in the contract.
There are also a few things you should look our for: what is included in the rent and how much are the extra bills? So if you’ve found a house for 40 a week ,but it doesn’t cover any bills-you aren’t going to save money, especially if the other rooms are empty
