is a land of flowers and gardens. Spring flowers start in February

and they grow in people's
gardens, in public places, in window-boxes.

They grow in the fields and
woods too.

Sometimes the British summer
is fine and lasts longer than one month, but some years it rains all

the summer and it is cold and
windy. The British people have fogs and sometimes they are so thick

that all the traffic stops. It
is very bad for people's health.
