Rosa Lee parks (eng. Rosa Lee Parks was born as Rosa Lee McCauley; 1913-2005) was an American social activist, scintillate movement for the rights of black citizens of the USA. The U.S. Congress awarded Rose epithet "Mother of the modern civil rights movement".

During the bus trip December 1, 1955 in Montgomery, Alabama, Rosa refused at the request of driver James Blake to give up her seat to a white passenger section of the bus for color after all the seats in the section for whites were busy. Such waivers has happened: Irene Morgan in 1946, Sarah Louise keys in 1955 achieved a positive verdicts of the Supreme Court and Interstate Commercial Fee, which applies to bus transportation between States. However, in contrast to these single acts of civil disobedience, public reaction to the act parks led to the boycott of the bus lines of the city. The actions of the participants in the boycott turned Rosa parks in international symbol of resistance to racial segregation and brought national fame to the leader of the boycott, Martin Luther king, making him the most important figure in the civil rights movement. In subsequent years, Rosa parks has received several awards and honors, medals from them. Springarn (1979) to the statue in the National Sculpture Hall of the Capitol.

Rosa McCauley was born February 4, 1913 in the town Tuskegee, PCs Alabama, Negro in the Methodist family. Melongena (had African, Scottish, Irish, cherokkee and crickie roots).
