In 2010, Krivoy Rog celebrate 235 years , though many historians and historians believe that the history of our city as a settlement covers a span of time , somewhere around 250-260 years old - the age is small, as in most Ukrainian cities and villages. But on the individual stages of the history of Krivoy Rog , we are still far from incomplete information.
Unfortunately, the residents of our city have a limited understanding of the history of Krivoy Rog , and especially on a pre- and early Soviet period ( and not only ) . The reason for this is the lack of information (especially photographic ) , which will help to recreate at least some episodes of a holistic picture of the history of the time of Krivoy Rog .
Heading "History of Krivoy Rog " - an attempt to collect and organize at least a small part of the extant old photos and maps of Krivoy Rog , as well as videos of local history character that will serve as a useful source for krivorozhan in studying the history of his native land .
This entry 80564 site "History of Krivoy Rog " originates from the popular site "Vkontakte" , where 25 January 2009 the author of this group was created called " Krivorozhskaya old ." Later joined the leadership group and Dmitry Antonov Vladimir Leonidovich Kazakov . A few months later there was an idea to create an equivalent group , only as a special category for the site www.80564.info, consisting of seven thematic sections that include subsections. The first three sections - an assemblage of archival photographs and maps of Krivoy Rog , the author collected from various sources ( funds from Krivoy Rog History Museum to personal archives krivorozhan ) . The remaining sections of category " History of Krivoy Rog " - a contemporary photographs of the city and its historical heritage objects , which are made by the author during his own research.
