1. I have provided a detailed explanation why we should choose Hindi out of existing natural languages in another entry. Here, I'd like to present some arguments, why it should not be an artificial language as I have forgotten to do so. So why? Although I'm not a linguist and do have some hobbyist knowledge of it, I can imagine manufacturing a language. A series of them has been produced so far. But think of the principles you adopt to do so. If you are satisfied with reducing a language just to logical level, then OK, you can produce a language that is very logical, regular, with simple grammar, etc. so that it can be very easy to learn and even appealing to people. There are people who claim to like Esperanto for instance and I believe it. You may manage to select the vocabulary basis in a way, that it suggest meanings to speakers of many languages, and of course, to others it will not (like European vs. Asian languages). But how successfully can you mimic the evolution of natural language driven by all its history and culture behind? Can you put all those nuances into it? I thing this is one plain at which artificial language will be always more separated from human society than any foreign language. Can you put the feeling of coherence into an artificial language that will anyway take its bits from other natural languages? Can you create a motivation for sufficient amount of people to make it really usable? And I don't mean that you can force children in schools to learn it, it's possible, but I don't think it would work in reality - I mean they will not like to start using it - you create a barrier right from the beginning as it happens sometimes with natural languages and less skillful teachers. And there is much more to it. Suppose for a while that there might be some correspondence between sounds (vibrations) and realities they point to. E.g. mantras deal with this. You might argue by a plenty of different languages to refuse this idea. But then look at their evolution and the tree like branching of language families across history. We now see that it is possible to define quite exact rules to derive changes in sounds and their patterns to come from ancient languages to modern. If we revert it, we head to some proto-languages that might or might not exist in reality between peoples communities, but they definitely are a common concepts behind language families. So, let's assume there might be some correspondence between the sounds and realities they point to. Can you design this into the artificial language? Well, you are lucky as this has been done also in the past by the very qualified seers. Sanskrit is said to be such a language that has also divine roots. It's grammar is somewhat more complicated that ancient Latin, Greek, and modern Slavic languages - so, let's say it is complicated and thus not appealing to every potential learner. However, many claim that using this language brings additional stability and peace into the consciousness and it is still used in India as a scholarly language. I do not think there is any opportunity for it to rise now, nevertheless, much of Sanskrit in terms of vocabulary has been preserved in Hindi and it could be also a natural source of inspiration for the new word roots for other languages. Thus, should the next evolution of human society be more cultural than a mere obsession with money and profit, I think, Hindi could be a very suitable carrier for it. Actually, the next dominant group of nations that will lead world further has to redefine the view of profit from purely egoistic and materialistic, to overall benefit to people with respect to Mother Nature.
