MY FRIEND IS AN ALIEN (after Peter and Karen Viney) Mr Kirk was in the park with his dog one Sundaynight. Suddenly he heard a noise and saw astrange person in front of him. It was Zardak,from the planet Vecon. Zardak came to Londonby air. But he didn’t arrive at the airport, he didn’tcheck in, he didn’t pass the passport control orthe customs. Mr Kirk took him home, but he didn’t tell anybodyabout Zardak’s arrival. Zardak liked Mr Kirk, andthey became friends. But Zardak was tired of MrKirk’s flat. He wanted to travel about Mr Kirk’scountry or at least he wanted to make a tour ofthe city. Zardak: Well, my good friend. When can we goout and see your city? Mr Kirk: Er... that’s difficult, Zardak. It isn’t a verygood idea. Zardak: But I’ve been here for two days and Ihaven’t seen anything yet. Mr Kirk: You’ve watched television.
