Accident involving 259 vehicles
Caused a chain reaction accident on a highway in Germany - on Sunday evening here faced 259 machines in a row about it on Monday reported German news channels .
The first accident occurred on the highway A2, connecting Berlin and Hanover , on a segment of the highway between the settlement and the city Hemervald Lehrte , this evening there was heavy rain . After one accident, standing on the highway the car started one after the other to enter the other cars , some of which went to the Autobahn . The accident resulted in a traffic jam length of 30 kilometers.
According to a police spokesman in Lower Saxony , injured in this accident giant got 66 people . Stretch of highway in the area was closed until Monday morning , on -site emergency employed about 340 rescuers. The movement is restored.
