1.У меня много друзей и мы интересуемся одними и теми же вещами. Мы любим смотреть телевизор, особенно комедии и мой любимый фильм за все время Отец Тед. Так же мы любим музыку и меня интересуют (нравятся) группы инди, такие как The Bravery и Arctic Monkeys. Я стараюсь ходить на многие выступления, когда могу. Я не очень интересуюсь модой. Я терпеть не могу шопинг и меня не очень заботят известные фирмы (марки одежды).
2.Я действительно люблю шопинг. Я думаю это расслабляет, приятное времяпрепровождение. На столько, что я могу часами проводить время у ветрин магазинов в торговом центре с друзьями. H&M мой любимый магазин одежды, потому что там ты всегда можешь найти хороший товар. Так же я люблю ходить в кино и я пытаюсь поймать (успеть сходить на фильм) двухнедельный (возможно, который показывают 2 недели. Тут я неуверенна) фильм с моим другом Томом. Мои сверстники ненормальные по мобильному телефону и печатание сообщений стало национальным времяпрепровождением.
3. Я живу с родителями на ферме рядом с маленьким городом в Южной Австралии. Пейзаж здесь вокруг очень красивый и я гуляю и катаюсь на лошади очень много, но жизнь здесь на самом деле скучная. Я не желаю жить здесь, когда стану старше и мечтаю уехать жить в большой город. Мои друзья и я много времени проводим в интернете, играя в игры, переписываясь и мы смотрим DVD. Конечно же, как и все подростки, мы вынуждены делать дом. задание.
4. В течение недели я не делаю часть домашнего задания по вечерам, я жду выходных. По субботам я часто оттягиваюсь с друзьями в торговом центре, где мы проверяем магазины на наличие новой одежды, схватываем (быстро берем) кусок еды (перекус) и смотрим фильмы.
По воскресеньям я часто путешествую (отправляюсь) с родителями в деревню. Мне это нравится.
5.Я активный человек. Я ненавижу телевизор. Я считаю просиживание перед телевизором пустой тратой времени. Я восхищена (очарована) быть вне дома. Я фанат скейтборда и добираюсь до школы и из школы на нем. В выходные я стараюсь уехать из города и заниматься скалолазанием или параглайдингом.
Экстримальные виды спорта - моя страсть! Так же я думаю, что важно выглядеть хорошо еду туда ради того, чтобы выглядеть спортивно.

Ice-Cream Cone.
For folks who lived anywhere near St. Louis, Missouri, the biggest event in the summer of 1904 was the Louisiana Purchase Exposition, which took place in that city. No one knew beforehand, but that exposition was the occasion where ice-cream cones were first made and sold. The person who made it was named Charles Menches and he was the seller of ice-cream. But he didn’t plan to invent the ice-cream cone. This is how it happened. Charles Menches sold his ice-cream in dishes the way every other ice-cream man did. That August when the Louisiana Purchase Exposition was at its height, was a real scorcher (жаркий, знойный день), however, and one day disaster struck Mr. Menches. There were so many hot and thirsty fairgoers wanting ice-cream that he ran out of dishes. And it wasn’t even noon. He had more than half a day of business ahead of him and not a single dish to serve his ice-cream on. What did Menches do? He looked around him and thought fast. Nearby was a stand where his friend, Ernest Hamwi, who was from Syria, was selling a Middle-Eastern treat Zalabia. Zalabia consists of a crisp, wafer(вафля)-like pastry (тесто) sold with syrup. “Give me Zalabia!”- cried Menches. He rolled up the Zalabia, scooped (черпать) his ice-cream on top and presto! 220 000 pounds for Victim of Police Assault
A hairdresser won 220 000 pounds damages yesterday after a jury found
that he was assaulted by police and wrongly arrested. This happened after counsel for Din Zung, 32, urged the jury to send a clear message that the public
would no longer stand for "lying, bullying, racism and perjury" by the Metropolitan Police.
Central London County Court was told that police went to Mr. Zung's
home over a dispute involving a leaking roof. Mr.Zung was arrested after refusing to allow officers in without a warrant. Akmal Khan, his solicitor, said his
client's arms were twisted behind his back and he was handcuffed. "They
punched and kicked him in the van and he was kicked in the kidneys." Another
policeman used his back as a footstool and the driver turned round and insulted
him verbally saying he had got no more than he deserved. The charge officer
told him, "I've never arrested a Chink before." When he was released at 11 p.m. 5
that night they threw him into the street in just jeans and flip-flops. "He had to
walk two miles home," Mr.Khan said.
When Mr.Zung arrived home, the front door was open and his stereo and
other property had been stolen. Doctors found extensive bruising to his back and
kidneys and he was passing blood.
Mr.Zung made a formal complaint to the Police Complaints Authority.
Despite a police surgeon confirming the injuries, the complaint was rejected and
he decided to sue.
Ben Emmerson, counsel for Mr.Zung, urged the jury to send a strong
message to Sir Paul Condon by awarding damages that would hit his budget. "In
this case a small award would be regarded as a victory by the officers."
A statement issued on behalf of Sir Paul, the Metropolitan Police Commissioner, said: "We believe the award to be excessive and we are going to appeal against the size of the award but not the verdict."
The Metropolitan Police said no action would be taken against the constables involved: Christopher Smith, Andrew Morris and Bob Davies.
In a separate case at the same court Terence Wilkinson, 27, was awarded
64 000 pounds damages. He had accused other officers from the same area of
wrongful arrest and assault, false imprisonment and malicious prosecution.
