was a very long journey but it was run. on the way we played games and listened to music. the first thing we did was visit the tower of london . it was great. we saw the crown jewels and the beefeaters . in the afternoon we went on the London Eye. it was very high. the view from the top was amazing. we saw big ben and boats on the river thames. the thing i liked most was the natural history museum. we saw a lot of interesting things and an enormous dinosaur . it was brilliant! I went to London, I decided I wanted to live there. When I think of London, my favorite city in the world, one sight comes to mind: standing beneath the great clock tower, known to many as Big Ben, and looking up at it in all of its beauty. The clock tower does not stand alone; it is kept company by the Houses of Parliament also known as the Palace of Westminster. The building has become the symbol of the city, representing London to the world. The tower, browned by age, is old and rustic against the backdrop of a modern-day city. I close my eyes and the flowing gowns of long-forgotten queens flutter by, Elizabeth Tudor herself standing in a golden hall. I'm in London with classmates.Wa are having a great time. Lots to see and to visit in London! Lots to see and to visit in London! Let me tell you about our stay here.
On Monday, we visited the Tower of London and spent the whole day there. I took lots of photos. Next to the Tower there's the famous Tower Bridge. I was lucky to get photos of Tower Bridge when it was open, wasn't i? I'll show you sometime. Next day we went to Bucking ham Palace and saw the Changing of the Guard. There were a lot of tourists there. Imagine, there are more than 600 rooms in the palace and the royal family has got a cinema and a swimming pool in there!
We spent Wednesday in Greenwich. We went there on a boat. We visited the "Prime Meridian", the imaginary line that divides the world into east and west. Fantastic place!
Yesterday it was rainy and windy, so we went to the British Museum. You collect coins, don't you? I bought a special souvenir for you there. Hope you'll like it. Today it's sunny and warm, and we are going to the London Eye.
Well, I must go now. It's time to leave.
