through all my pieces from Chopin and Mozart. My dream was to win the competition. I'd won other competitions before, some more prestigious, but this one was very important for me. I wanted my dream to come true so badly. I believed I could win.

The day before the competition I was at my piano teacher's house to play through the pieces again as a warm-up before the big day, but something happened. I just couldn't play. I felt really nervous.
