always agree! Linghtning Ridge is usually a nice quiet town.But every Easter,hundreds of visitors come here for the goat races.Its terrible!Theres too much traffic and theres too much noise.There are too many people- and too many goats! I think its boring here.there are a lot of spoets faclities, i suppose.But , for me. there isnt enough to do.There arent enough places for young people and there arent enough good shops.Id rather live in a bigger town, but im a student so i havent got enough money at the moment.But is isnt all bad.And if you like poisonous snakes,its the perfect place for you!

explored the city with my Kazakhstani friend, Dariga. We stareted in Republic Square and saw the independence Monument with the statue of the " Golden man" on the top. Then we went to Panfilov Park and visited the beautiful cathedral. It was built in 1907 and, apparently, it's the second tallest wooden building in the world. That evening we went back to Republic Square to see Firework display. The next day we went to the museum of a famous writer, Mukhtar Auezov. I learned about one of his play, Enlik and Kebek. It's a bit like the English play Romeo and Juliet Wiliam Shakespeare. A boy and girl From two different tribes fell in love, but their families didn't want them to be together, because the two tribes were enemies. So Enlik and Kebek ran away and lived in the mountains. Unfortunately, their families foun them - very sad, but very romantic, I suppose! Dariga has taken me top lots of different restaurants. My favourit food here is plov ( a rice , vegetable and lamd dish) and i also love sansas with fruit, honey and nuts-delicious! Dariga speaks Kazakh and Russian and English, of course. There are a lot of different nationalities living in Almaty. I've practised my German and French here too. Yesterday, a Kazakh guide took us into the mountains. We went fora long walk through the forests with beautiful views of the snow on the top of the mountains. This evening we're going to the Arasan Baths. William ShakespeareWho was he really?William Shakespeare , English poet and dramatist of the Elizabethan time ( the reign of Queen Elizabeth I). He was born in Stratford -upon-Avon , a town in central England. He is the greatest writer in the English language.
That Shakespeare wrote ?Shakespeare wrote thirty six plays, which are still learning , performing on stage and even make movies in the world! Shakespeare wrote sonnets are also a lot of love * .
What were his plays ?Shakespeare wrote three types of plays: comedies ( Midsummer Night's Dream , Much Ado About Nothing ) , tragedy ( Romeo and Juliet , Hamlet, Othello ) and stories ( Henry V). Common themes in his comedies were confusion , taking one person to another , or women who disguise themselves as men - although the actors were all men anyway! In " The Merchant of Venice ", the famous comedy, moneylender asks pound of flesh from the merchant who can not pay him some money! Life was tough in the Elizabethan time and Shakespeare reflect this , such as Hamlet , which was very krovavozhadnym and tells about revenge, deceit and death.
Where his performances were staged , and who came to them ?Most of Shakespeare's plays were performed in the Globe Theatre in London, which could accommodate about 3,000 people .
