Newspapers and magazines play a very important part in our life. Practically there is no family that does not read them. We can learn many things from newspapers. Perhaps that is why many years ago an American humorous writer said: “All I know is what I see in the papers”; and another American author more than half a century ago wrote that “the careful reader of a few good newspapers can learn more in a year than most scientists do in their great libraries”.
We can agree or disagree with these statements (better to disagree, because scientific books and magazines have more information than newspapers), but we'll have to say that newspapers help us in many ways. There are a lot of different kinds of newspapers in our country. One can buy them practically everywhere. It is impossible to read all the newspapers and magazines. Everyone has favourite ones.
My favourite newspaper is “( вставить нужное название:)) ”. We can read almost about everything in this newspaper. There are articles dealing with home and abroad news, sport events, life of favourite actors and singers and even the weather. We can find many interesting things there. We can read some useful pieces of advice, some stories about our life, and so on. There are puzzles, songs and even anecdotes there. “( вставить нужное название:)) ” is one of the most interesting newspapers, to my mind.

Hi Jim, My dream came true. I visited the London Eye. It"s a giant wheel which is situated on the bank of the River Thames. The London Eye is 135 metres high and turns very very slowly. There are 32 comfortable capsules for people to stand in. It carries 15, 000 people a day. When i ...got to the top, i ..had a bird"s-eye view of central London.It...was great! ...I spent 30 minutes on the Eye.I ..admired the city,its historical buildings and the famous Thames. I ..took a lot of photos. I also .bought some funny souvenirs in the shop below the London Eye: a model of red London bus and a black mug with the picture of the giant wheel. Next to the London Eye are the Jubilee Gardens where we ..saw a puppet show and some living statues there .were two kings and a nice queen, a brave cowboy and a sad poet among the living statues. Здравствуйте, нужно сочинение на тему роль технического прогресса в нашей жизни (НА АНГЛИЙСКОМ ЯЗЫКЕ) 9класс Зачетный проект по английскому
языку 9 класса. Роль технического прогресса в современном обществе. Проект небольшой, чтобы рассказать за 4-5 минут, а главное на АНГЛИЙСКОМ ЯЗЫКЕ!!! В теме обязательно должна быть проблема для обсуждения (например: телефоны вредят нашему здоровью или что-то вроде того)
План примерно такой:
1. Вступление (здороваешься с комиссией, приветствуешь всех рассказываешь о проекте и почему его выбрал.)
2. Главная часть (Рассказываешь о техническом прогрессе его влиянии, о том как это хорошо или плохо, затрагиваешь острую проблему влияния технического прогресса)
3. Заключение. (Подводишь вывод о технологическом прогрессе, и в конце фразочку например: Технический прогресс неизбежен и мы должны...блаблабла...)
Очень надеюсь, что найдется человек со знанием английского и поможет. (У самого жутко хромает грамматика поэтому прошу помощи.
