Dr Dee: My name is Doctor Dee.
Rob: Dr Dee! I know you! Our teacher told us about you in the History lesson. You are the Queen's astrologer and friend. Why are you in prison?
Dr Dee: I'm not in prison here. I came because I wanted to talk to you.
Rob: Do you believe my story, Dr Dee?
Dr Dee: Yes, I do. I know about the time tunnels. Somebody wanted to travel to your time and you had to take his place here. I think it was a boy of your age. He made a mistake and got lost, so he couldn't send you back to your own time.
Rob:So what can I do now?
Dr Dee:Oh, you'll have to wait. He'll find you himself.
Rob:But I can't wait. Tomorrow I am going to die! Please help me.
Dr Dee: Well, I am not a wizard and I can't send you back to your own time. But let us ask the stars. Here is the prediction. "The boy from the future will return to his time if he finds the beginning of the Earth which is under a big tree. The time tunnel will only open for a boy with a kind heart who can be a real friend."
Rob:The beginning of the Earth! A real friend! Are you joking? I don't have any friends! It is awful! I am going to die!

1) Finally the day came when the boy didn`t lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper. The days passed and the boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone.
2) The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said, "You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won`t matter how many tines you say I`m sorry. The wound is still there."
3) A verbal wound is as bad as physical one.
4) The first day, the put 37 nails into the fense. Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.

WINS HIM TOP AWARD Thirteen-year-old Chun-To started with one or two books а week but in the past nine months he has read 137 books — enough to win the Education Department's Extensive English Reading Scheme award. Не became the top student from 19 schools participating in the Scheme run by the Institute of Language in Education. The Wong Shiu Chi Secondary School pupil suggested that he probably was а kind of bookworm and that he had few other hobbies, though he did once represent his primary school in а table tennis contest. But most evenings he spent reading to try to improve his English. “Every evening after my homework I set aside one to two hours reading the story books. And when I had finished the ones I borrowed from school I exchanged them with my schoolmates, sо I can read more,” he said. Chun-To said his favourite books were science fiction, detective and horror stories but most of the titles he read for the competition were famous classics. “At first I had tо read twice some of the books I found difficult,” he admitted. The school will not allow students to borrow books over the summer holidays but Chun-To said he hoped tо continue his reading next term. But as for his future career, he was still undecided. “I want to work in an office rather than labouring and I want to be able to use my mind, but it's too early for me to decide what I might do,” he said.
