Косвенная речь в английском языке нужна для того, чтобы передавать слова говорящего не слово в слово, а лишь содержательно, в виде дополнительного придаточного предложения
Например:
He said to me: "I have seen you somewhere" -это прямая речь
Перевод:
Он сказал мне: "Я тебя где-то видел"
А косвенная речь строится по-другому:
He told me that he had seen me somewhere
Перевод
Он сказал мне, что он меня где-то видел

Вот предложение "Does power in Britain belong to the Queen? (Jane) нужно переделать в косвенную речь, получилось-Jane asks if power in Britain belong to the Queen. как перевести правильно это предложение?
