История начинается с того что девушка по имени Василиса, родом из России, мечтает попасть на IMG models. Ей всего лишь 18 лет, но она полна энтузиазма.Решив воплотить свою мечту стать моделью, она уезжает в США. Там она узнаёт о том что ее вес слишком велик и то что ее не возьмут в модельное агентство, пока она не похудеет. Дальше идут рассказы о ее пути к "идеальной фигуре" и о работе в IMG.
Но в один момент Василиса попадает в больницу, после голодного обморока. Исследования показывают что у девушки 3 стадия нервной анорексии, которая в дальнейшем закончилось смертельным исходом.
Главная идея этого фильма в том что никакая работа модели не стоит таких истязаний над собой.
