Мой любимый писатель — Михаил Юрьевич Лермонтов. На мой взгляд, это величайший поэт, прозаик и драматург русской и мировой литературы. Вне всякого сомнения, он является гением литературы, таким же как Александр Пушкин или Александр Грибоедов.
Лермонтов прожил короткую, но весьма интересную и насыщенную жизнь. Обратившись к его биографии, в ней можно найти множество очень интересных фактов о жизни самого поэта, а так же и историю происхождения его рода. Так, к примеру, мы знаем что род Лермонтовых происходил из Шотландии и восходил к полумифическому барду-пророку Томасу Лермонту. В 1613 году, один из представителей этого рода был взят в плен русскими при захвате крепости Белая и в числе прочих так называемых бельских немцев поступил на службу к московскому царю. Он перешёл в православие и стал, под именем Юрия Андреевича, родоначальником русской дворянской фамилии Лермонтовых. Михаил Юрьевич знал о своих не русских корнях, и посвятил стихотворение «Желание», написанное им в 1831 году, своим шотландским предкам. Лермонтова отличала безумная страсть к произведениям Пушкина. В своих стихах, романах он иногда подражал своему кумиру. Лермонтов и в жизни был подобен Пушкину. Дуэлянт, задира и насмешник. Стихотворение «Смерть поэта» , написанное сразу после убийства Пушкина, показывает всю ту любовь, которую поэт питал к гению. Символично, Лермонтов, как и его кумир Пушкин, погиб на дуэли, сражённый пулей противника. Мне кажется, что Лермонтов, в последние мгновения жизни гордился тем,что умер как и великий Пушкин.
Весть о смерти Лермонтова по-разному была воспринята в обществе. Некоторые говорили: «туда ему и дорога»… Сам же император сказал: «Господа, получено известие, что тот, кто мог заменить нам Пушкина, убит». Что бы ни говорили, я нахожу в творчестве Лермонтова некоторую фундаментальность. Проблемы, поднятые им в романах — это извечные проблемы общества, а стихи великого поэта пронизанные высокими чувствами и глубоким смыслом, читаются легко и запоминаются надолго.
