in 1727 and was one of nine children in the family of a wool merchant. His parents discovered the boy’s talent in an interesting and unusual way. Thomas spent his childhood in the country. Once, while walking near his father’s house, he saw a thief climbing over the wall of their neighbour’s garden. Thomas had a look at the man, went back home and drew a portrait of the thief. When his father told his family about the robbery, young Thomas showed him the picture. The portrait of the stranger was taken to the police. The portrait was so good and precise that the thief was caught and punished soon after.
Thomas’ mother encouraged her son's talent and Gainsborough made a rather impressive portfolio at a young age. By 10, the young artist had drawn quite a lot of local village landscapes, and added several caricatures. His father was impressed by his works and allowed Thomas to go to London, where he studied at an academy in St. Martin's Lane.
The young artist painted landscapes. They were wonderful but were not selling very well. Soon the painter married and moved to Bath. To support his family Thomas started to paint portraits. And very soon Thomas Gainsborough became a well-known artist and a wealthy person.
Money allowed him to get into music. He learned to play several musical instruments and employed international musicians to play in his house. He once said, "I paint portraits to live, landscapes because I love them, and music because I can't leave it alone".
In his lifetime Thomas Gainsborough painted many pictures - more than 500. About 200 of these were paintings of people.
The painting of The Blue Boy is perhaps one of the best-known works by Gainsborough. Although the painter himself preferred landscapes, it is his portrait works that give him lasting fame.
Thomas Gainsborough died in 1788 at the age of 61. Major works by Gainsborough in Britain can be seen at the Tate Britain Gallery and the National Gallery (London), and the National Gallery of Scotland (Edinburgh).

Здравствуйте!!! Умоляю вас помогите пожалуйста перевести текст с английского на русский!!! Заранее очень сильно благодарен.A hospital is a health care

institution providing patient treatment by specialized staff and equipment.Today , hospitals are largely staffed by professional physicians , surgeons . and nurses , whereas in the past , this work was usually performed by the founding religious orders or by volunteers. There are over 17.000 hospitals in the world. In accord with the original meaning of the word , hospitals were originally "places of hospitality".
Some patients go to a hospital just for diagnosis , treatment , or therapy and then leave ('outpatients') without staying overnight; while others are 'admitted' and stay overnight or for severaldays or weeks or months ('inpatients').Hospitals usually are distinguished from other types of medical facilities by their ability to admit and care for inpatients while the others often are described as clinics.
The best-known type of hospital is the general hospital . which is set up to deal with many kinds of disease and injury , and normally has an emergency department to deal with immediate and urgent threats to health. Some hospitals have their own ambulance service.A district hospital typically is the major health care facility in its region , with large numbers of beds for intensive care and long-term care.
Types of specialized hospitals include trauma centers , rehabilitation hospitals , children`s hospitals , seniors'(geriatric) hospitals , and hospitals for dealing with specific medical needs such as psychiatric problems (psychiatric hospital) , certain disease categories such as cardiac , oncology , or orthopedic problems , and so on.
A hospital may be a single building or a number of buildings. Many hospitals with pre-twentieth-century origins began as one building and evolved into campuses. Some hospitals are affiliated with universities for medical research and the training of medical personnel such as physicians and nurses , often called teaching hospitals.Worldwide , most hospitals are run on a nonprofit basis by governments or charities.
The medical facility smaller than a hospital is generally called a clinic.Clinics generally provide only outpatient services.
Hospitals vary widely in the services they offer and therefore , in the departments (or "wards") they have. Each is usually headed by a Chief Physician. They may have acute services such as emergency department or specialist trauma center , burn unit , surgery , or urgent care. These may then be backed up by more specialist units such as:
1.Emergency department.
2.Cardiology.
3.Intensive care unit.
4.Pediatric intensive care unit.
5.Neonatal intensive care unit.
6.Cardiovascular intensive care unit.
7.Neurology.
8.Oncology.
9.Obstetrics and gynecology.
Some hospitals will have outpatient departments and some will have chronic treatment units such as behavioral health services , dentistry , dermatology . psychiatric ward . rehabilitation services , and physical therapy.Нужно сделать перевод теста на русский язык!!!.

Twelve thousand years ago,it was the time of the last ice Age,the earth was different from now.The weather was very cold and there were different types of plants and animals.Huge animals such as the woolly mammoth, woolly rhinoceros and mastodon lived in the north of Europe and Asia and in North America. These animals died out shortly after the Ice Age came to an end.
In the Ice Age there were different species of early man.Their life was really hard. They learned to be good hunters, had many tools and lived in family groups. They looked and did like modern people, yet they were not like us.
They hunted and killed mammoths and other animals. But dangerous animals killed them too. They walked a lot to find food. They were strong and powerful. They could think and understand many things.
Early people needed food, homes, clothing and tools. They had religious leaders, community leaders, and doctors. They had no schools but their children leaders at home.
Some time passed and they learned a lot. They were as we are.
They began human history.
