A Good Lesson.
One day Doctor Brown had only a (1)............ cents in his pocket.As he wanted to eat he went to a shop to (2)............ something.There he asked the shopman to (3)........... him ten grams of cheece.But the shopman said to Doctor Brown, "I cannot (4).......... such a small piece of cheese".
"What (5)..............can you cut then?" asked the doctor.
"Twenty grams," answered the shopman.
"All right," said the doctor,"cut (6).............. a piece, pleas."
The shopman did it and gave the piece of cheese (7)............ the doctor.
"Now," said the doctor,"I will (8)...............you how to sell ten grams of cheese."
He (9).......... a knife, cut the cheese in two, tooke the (10).......... half, paid the money and (11)............ the shop.

spaceship was really a robot. But we have learned of a new discovery — a map of a city. Our specialists have already compared it with the maps of all the cities known on the planet Earth. It is not the map of any of them. That makes us believe that we have a map of an alien city. It doesn't look different from the maps of our cities: same roads, streets, parks and buildings. This fact lets us believe that the aliens who live in such cities must be similar to people on our planet. It makes us hopeful that if we meet them we will have no problems in under­standing each other.
